For everyday coloring with crayons or pencils, 32 lb (120 gsm) premium printer paper works well. For markers or special prints, thicker paper helps. Our paper guide covers the best option for each tool.

Quality & Design

Our illustrators create each page from scratch, from concept to final line art. Before publishing, the design team checks every file for print quality, line thickness, and clean shapes. Lauren reviews content for age-suitability.

Troubleshooting

Try a different app. Google Drive, Adobe Reader, or Apple Files all handle PDFs. On computers, Chrome and Edge open them without extra software.
Change the "Scale" setting in your print dialog to "Fit to Page." Some viewers default to "Actual Size," which adds extra margins.
Set your print quality to "Best" or "High." Draft mode saves ink but makes lines thinner.
Use the rear feed tray. Print one sheet at a time. In settings, change paper type to "Heavy" or "Cardstock."
